CLAIRE HARRIS

Claire Harris

Claire Harris holds a BSc Hons degree in Physiotherapy and is registered with the Health Professions Council.  She is also a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Aquatic Therapy Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. 

On graduating in 2003 Claire was employed by Stoke Mandeville Hospital and after completing her junior rotations she became a Specialist Physiotherapist in the National Spinal Injuries Unit.

In 2005 Claire moved to North Devon and became a Senior Physiotherapist with Northern Devon Healthcare Trust.  Claire started her own business with her husband in 2010 and now has 20 years of experience in neurological physiotherapy.  Claire is highly experienced in working with individuals with a variety of conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Cord Injury, Parkinson’s Disease, Traumatic Brain Injury amongst many other conditions.

Claire is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals recovering from illness or injury and alongside her private work, Claire continues to work with the Neurological Rehabilitation team and the Adult Learning Disability Team at North Devon District Hospital. 

In the past 5 years Claire has developed her knowledge and skills in hydrotherapy treatment and has completed post graduate training in the use of aquatic therapy for rehabilitation.
